I've been training with Scott (competitive powerlifting) for just over a year and couldn't be happier with the results we are achieving! He sets the bar high and expects hard work in every session, but motivates the client every step of the way to reach and exceed goals, spends the time to truly individualize each client's program, and knows how to get results. He has a rare gift for coaching, for bringing out potential and molding a champion. When I first started training with him just a year ago, I was in pretty rough shape, discouraged and about ready to retire from the lifting...but now I'm more motivated than ever, and he has me deadlifting close to 400 pounds and holding 13 national records...at age 57!! In my first competition after he'd trained me just five months, I brought home the championship belt. Between his excellent chiropractic care and hard-driving but safe, injury-free training, we're just really getting started on how far we can take this progress in the sport I love! He genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in their success. He's also friendly with a great sense of humor, and has become a good friend as well. Looking forward to many more years training with Alpha Dog Coaching! Highly recommended!

My favorite part of training that stands out is the technical information I receive…the muscle groups, recruitment, resistance, proper form…the “why” as well as the “how” to train. Go for it!! Expect results you will really like!! Tom Robinson, Mechanical Engineer
Personal training at Alpha Dog Coaching has improved many aspects of my life; mentally and physically. One of my goals is toning my body and I began to see amazing results after a few weeks and it’s continuing to get even better. I feel great about myself and realizing my potential in the gym has helped me to push myself in other aspects of my life (a career change). Beth Patchak, Mathematics Teacher
What stands out the most to me about training at Alpha Dog Coaching is the wealth of knowledge of the anatomy and chemistry of the body. Not only does this contribute to the types and styles of exercises performed in a routine, but also into the most efficient execution and rewards of those exercises. At such a reasonable and affordable cost, there is little reason not to be exercising in an environment where there is constant information, assistance, companionship and accountability. All of these are offered at Alpha Dog Coaching. Jordan Klein, Mechanical Engineer
Dr. Newquist’s encouragement, attention to detail, and knowledge has been life changing. During our first session we discussed where I want to go, my goals and objectives and fitness vision. Dr. Newquist is sincere, thoughtful, tough, and genuinely cares about me and my quality of life. I also appreciate and truly value the consistent support both during my sessions and outside of my sessions. He suggests articles, resources and activities that help keep me motivated. Ann Pugliese, Clinical Coordinator
Time spent with me is never counted and is always available if I have questions, concerns or suggestions. Quality of instruction is second to none. I understand more now than I ever have through years of working out blindly, not knowing why some things worked while other did not. You don’t get that at most, if any, other training facilities. Support is invaluable; when I have one of those weak-and-puny days, support – be it exercise related, verbal, or just in the form of an understanding smile – is always there. Again, knowledge is second to none. The backgrounds, experience, and collective knowledge of Alpha Dog Coaching is the foundation for valued, time-tested, lasting, and SAFE training. Peg Molter, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Data Analyst
His confidence in my ability to do more than I thought I was capable of and pushing me to do so is what stands out to me. By having knowledge of my injury history he was able to customize a workout specifically for me, greatly reducing my risk for reinjury. A personal trainer is the best investment you can make for yourself.
